OVERBID
Back to the board

How it works

What is this?

A single public leaderboard. Every listing has a link and a running total of dollars bid on it. The board is sorted by that total, highest at the top. That is the entire mechanic.

How do I get on?

Submit a name, a link and a bid of at least $1. Your listing appears at whatever position that bid buys.

How do I move up?

Add more to your total. To pass a listing you need to be one dollar above it. Right now the board is empty, so $1 takes rank #1.

Can I be knocked off the top?

Yes, and that is the point. Anyone can pay more than you at any moment. Nothing is locked in, ever.

What is a credit code?

A voucher we hand out. Enter it at checkout and it covers your bid up to its face value, so a $10 code pays for a bid of $10. Bid more than that and you pay the difference by card. Credit is worth exactly what it says on the board: a bid funded by credit ranks the same as one funded by card.

Are bids refundable?

No. A bid buys a position for as long as nobody outbids it, and it stays on your total forever.

What do I actually get?

A spot on a page people are watching, a clickable link, and a public click counter so you can see the traffic your position sent.

Is the ranking editorial?

Not at all. Nobody reviews, curates or endorses anything here. Position equals dollars. Judge every link yourself.

What is not allowed?

Malware, scams, illegal content and anything sexual involving minors. Those listings get removed and the bid is not returned. Everything else is fair game.

Are payments live?

Yes. Every bid is charged at checkout.
